it's been awhile since the last time i've updated and I don't know where to start. I'm at work right now 5:56 am and i'm hella tired haha and apparently, i don't give a shit about grammar. I was recently recruited by a company called 8x8. They're a VOIP company, a Voice-over Internet Protocol company. 2 weeks ago, on a wednesday, was my first day of work -- training. Throughout the day, i felt extremely fatigued and I had a headache that would not go away. I thought I was just suffering from exhaustion. After work, as I was driving home, I started to get the chills. I knew I was getting sick because my body was burning up. It turns out, I had a 102 degree fever. I got home, changed and passed out. I slept from Wednesday 6pm until 11pm Thursday night haha. From that point on, I got more and more sick -- from a fever, to a sore throat, to a cough, then bronchitis .. gg! The timing could not have been better considering Wednesday was the first day of my 3 day training. I had to call Thursday and Friday off. Not exactly the best first impression but oh well. Til this day, my bronchitis is still here. '=[ Anyways, spent majority of last week at home. Yennie would come over and take care of me. She mad me porridge, rice & ginger chicken! yum! haha hrm.. Thanksgiving was not the best but it was definitely a good experience. I had a family dinner on Wednesday in oakland and watched Casino Royale with the cousins -- not quite a 'James Bond' movie, in my opinion. Anyways, afterwards, I went home, changed, and went straight to Yennie's house. Stayed there until about 7am and headed back towards my house. We went to Walmart, Albertsons and Food Maxx to finish up the last of my Thanksgiving dinner. got back to my house around 9ish and prepared the salad dressing. took a nap and woke up at 2pm!! omg!! haha we were suppose to wake up earlier but we were so drained. So we woke up at 2pm and started preparing for our Thanksgiving dinner. We had Sweet-buttered corn, Shredded Chicken/Sweet Corn Casserole, Mochego Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Pesto Dressing Salad, Corn Bread, and a 11lb Turkey covered with Fennel Seed spice. We were in the kitchen until 9pm!! Afterwards, we drove down to her parents house and enjoyed the dinner with her family. '=] We left her house with intentions of waiting in line for Black Friday but we decided to just rest at my house. We woke up around 8am and met up with Tom and Thuy at the bart to head out to the city for some shopping. Yes, we took bart. There was no way in hell we were going to drive up to Frisco on Black Friday ahah. There were NO sales and absolutely nothing to buy with lines up the ass. GG. Tom and Thuy were exhausted cauz they practically had no sleep. They decided to leave early while Yennie and I decided to stick around a little longer. We ended up leaving around 4ish or so, got back to my place and took a nap, woke up around 6something and met up with her friends for dinner. Afterwards, we decided to head over to Ngoc's house and just sit back and chill. We went back to Yennie's house where I decided to stay the night. We woke up early and went back to my house to take a nap haha. We woke up and got ready for our little formal get-together with a few of my friends. We met up at Kim's house around 4pm and headed out to the city where we dined at Mecca. The environment was great. Plans turn out as planned but we ended up going to this asian dessert place afterwards and just chatted it up. We drove back to Kim's and did our Secret Santa drawings and departed from there.. Sunday, I practically slept all day, woke up and had dinner with my family at my parent's house. After dinner, i drove down to Yennie's and stayed there until work. Gotta love the 5am - 2pm shifts... no sleep. So we just kinda lounged around until 4am and I got ready and went to work. Here I am now, another long day at work .. i'm so freakin' sleepy.

| wow, today was hella homo. started off the day at work all emo and shit. anyways, i stopped by my parents house and had a little chit-chat since i rarely spend time with them anymore. apparently, i still get some mail there. I opened up one of the letters and it was a $361 citation! WTF?! stupid ass cameras said i ran a red light at the automall/fremont blvd. intersection when the pictures clearly show me making a right turn. I can't even argue it until the date of my court appearance which is December 11, 2006. Sigh.. then, the first thing my mom says to me when she sees me is, 'you lost weight. you look pale as if there is no blood circulation going through your body/face..' so yea.. later on at night when i'm eating with my friends, a few of them say that there's something different about my face .. and someone else adds in, 'looks like you haven't been sleeping or been going under a lot of stress..' .. hahaha..
seriously, i need to stop putting myself through this. i need to listen to my friends and just be happy. i keep letting my emotions get the best of me and it is so unhealthy. but it's nice to know that i have friends that are constantly looking out for me. | | |
| Happy Halloween ... yea right. I'm not sure the reason why, but my Halloween spirit has been dramatically decreasing as the years go by. This year has got to be the lowest of all time. The weird thing is, i've been wanting to do so much this Halloween -- the thought of dressing up with friends, or that special someone, or just staying home with that special someone, decorate the house and pass out candy together. Maybe it's the fact that I have a midterm the day after Halloween that killed my mood. Perhaps it's the emotional rollercoaster that i've been going through, or maybe it's just the fact that i'm getting too old. Come to think of it, it's very possible that it is a combination of everything. However, I do hope that you guys all had an awesome Halloween weekend and a safe, but fun Halloween day. '=]
I'm physically and mentally exhausted. My sleeping schedule has gone to shit and I don't wake up with the energy I used to. Instead, I wake up drained. I don't know what's going on but I do know that there is something constantly running through my mind. The ironic thing is, even though i'm working full time and going to school at night, there are other things on my mind that makes school and work the least of my worries.
